5 TIPS FOR LONG LASTING CURLS Part II
Today, I share with you my top five tips for those long-lasting Instagram- worthy curls. There are so many products methods tools you can use to style your hair, and I've experimented with majority of them. Although I love so many different ways to style my hair, these are my top 5 tips to get lasting curls throughout the day. I really hope you find these tips helpful and I would love if you shared your tips with me down below
Tip 1
If your hair has a hard time holding a curl, then this step is for you.
The secret weapon is volumizing mousse. Apply a palm-sized amount of mousse to your hand and rub the mousse in between your palms, and then I like to focus it on the shaft and the ends of my hair. Make sure you don't add too much product to your hair because that will get that really crunchy curl.

Tip 2
Maybe you're like me and you don't like washing your hair every day. If that's the case, then you're a step behind. On second day, hair holds a curl worse than freshly washed hair because curls cannot hold long time if your natural hair oils or from product build up hair like spray gel or serum covered on your hair.
If you really do not have time to wash your hair, here’s a trick I always play:
I will blow it out for day one and then I like to do to the restrain braids before I go to sleep just to help add texture to my hair, and in the morning I usually curl it easily. I also love going in with a dry shampoo. This is great to help freshen up the roots for a second day hair, and it helps add volume to.

Tip 3
This is different for everybody, but you need to pick the proper hair tool – curling iron. I prefer the medium sized barrel, it's at 32 millimeter just to produce a softer curl, but if you want a tighter and more ringlets, go with a smaller barrel.
I usually want the heat be set at 180 degrees mostly because that's the default, and it also tends to work really well with my hair. I usually hold my hair around the barrel for about 8 to 10 seconds, and it just gives you that really bouncy curl,
Just playing around the heat settings first, try on a little piece of hair before you do your whole head because everybody's hair is different and you'd be surprised how low of a heat setting you actually need to get really good curls.
Tip 4
Sometimes it can be time-consuming, but you should always let your curls cool before you touch them to ensure that you lock in the style.
Personally, I like to let my curls cool in my hand of right after I take them off of my wand (Be careful they can be very hot! XD) Another great way is when you catch the curl after you've curled it, curl it back up in a circular shape and put a either a bobby pin or a clip while it cools. This definitely ensures to hold its shape, and then you could lock in that style with a strong hold non sticky hairspray.
Tip 5
Why not trying out a wig? Either you want your hair to be styled as crimped, ringlets, natural waves or beachy weaves whatsoever, the most efficiency and time-saving way to do so is wearing an instagram-worthy styled wig! The application of a wig is super simple and it is required low –maintenance to hold curls. Even if you’re walking in a windy day its curls will hold all day long.
